Looking to control large, high-current DC motors with your Arduino? Well stop looking as we now have this awesome Dual H-Bridge shield that can handle DC motors that draw up to 8A of current at 22V DC. 

This awesome shield uses two discrete MOSFET H-Bridges, each of which can handle up to 8A of current. Comprised of eight N-channel IRF3205S and four IR2104 half-bridge controllers - Arduino and compatible boards can control and drive DC motors with ease. You can control the speed and direction of each DC motor, however the PWM signal for speed must be 99% (not full logic HIGH) for top speed due ot the characteristics of the IR2104 boost circuit. 

Connection to the motors and external power is simple thanks to the terminal blocks on the shield - which are also great for connecting larger batteries such as 7.4V LiPos from remote-control devices. And the shield has been designed for high-current use, with 2 oz. copper thickness to deal with the larger current flows.
