Now in stock - Adafruit CP2104 Friend - USB to Serial Converter

You can never have too many USB to serial options, and the latest to land in stock here at Tronixlabs Australia is the new Adafruit CP2104 Friend - USB to Serial Converter. The benefit of using the CP2104 is speed - you can upload code at a blistering 2Mbit/s for fast development time.

It also has auto-reset so no noodling with pins and reset button pressings. The CP2104 has better driver support than the CH340 and can do very high speeds, and variable speeds without stability issues. 

Compared to the FT232RL and FT231X, the CP2104 has the same capabilities or better, at a great price! It even has the RX/TX LEDs to help you debug your data, they'll blink when the chip receives/transmits data.

Each board is assembled however the header pins and socket shown above aren't soldered to the board - however we can do this for you on request. And you don't have to wait - the Adafruit CP2104 Friend - USB to Serial Converter is in stock now for $10.95 including GST
