Product Description

Controlling external devices is easy with this relay module. The relay can be opto-isolated from the control circuit. The input is 3.3V tolerant - so it can be controlled from your Arduino, Arduino Due, Raspberry Pi, or other 5V or 3.3V development board along with TTL outputs and so on. Please note that the control line is active LOW (so a HIGH signal turns a relay off, a LOW turns it on)

Review the end of the relay board as shown below:

If you want to power the relay coil from your controller (such as an Arduino), leave the jumper across the Vcc and RVcc pins. Then connect GND and Vcc to the GND and 5/3.3V from your Arduino (etc). 

Finally, connect the In1 pin to a digital output on your board. When this is LOW, the relay will be on. When this is HIGH, the relay will be off. The on/off is indicated with the small LED labelled "D1" on the relay board. 

If you want to power the relay coil from an external power source, remove the jumper from the board, then apply the power to RVcc and GND. If you have any questions, ask in the forum or email support@tronixlabs.com
